Summary: Moonrider is leaving Cybertron with the Wreckers, and yeah… //

Standing alone, Moonrider stared up at the ship, the Xanthium, that would take her and the Wreckers to Earth. To Optimus Prime.

But unfortunately, that meant leaving behind half her spark.

Drift had not hidden that fact that he was unhappy with her choice to leave, but, being the supportive mate that he was, didn’t try and force her to stay.

He tried to convince her not to leave, but she was stubborn. Very stubborn. And she had decided that leaving would be for the best. She didn’t explain why, but Drift trusted her. He knew he could count on her to make tough choices.

Moonrider sighed softly, hearing familiar pede steps behind her. “We’re almost ready to leave now,” she said softly to the mech behind her.

Drift paused once he was beside her. “I can see that,” he muttered softly, watching the Wreckers as they went about, preparing the ship for takeoff.

Moonrider and Drift silently watched the activity, before Drift sighed. “You don’t have to go, Moonrider,” he said softly.

Moonrider sighed. “Yes Drift. I do. Optimus Prime is down there. Did you forget, he pretty much raised me into adulthood.”

Drift sighed softly. “I know, I know. I just… I don’t want you to go, Moonrider…”

Moonrider sighed, turning to face Drift and making him to the same with her. “Drift, it’ll be fine. I promise. No matter what, I will always return to you. Okay? No matter what.”

Drift stared into her optics for a moment, before stepping forwards, wrapping her in a tight embrace. “I believe you,” he stated softly.

Moonrider gave him a tight squeeze, her arms around him as well. “Good. You know that I always keep my promises…”

Drift glanced up at her, then gripped her chin and pulled her in for a quick kiss.

Moonrider sighed, passionately kissing him back while keeping her grip tight on him.
Drift sighed softly, rubbing her back gently.

Moonrider pulled away a bit when Leadfoot called down to her. “Hey Moonrider! We’re booking out of here! Let’s go!”

Moonrider sighed softly, her grip on Drift loosening. She gazed into his optics for a moment, then gave him another gently kiss. “Take care of yourself,” she stated softly.
Drift nodded. “You too…”

Moonrider gave him a small smile, then pulled away, slowly turning and striding to the ship. All the while she could feel Drifts optics burning into her back.
