Summary: Solar Eclipse and Moonrider are running from Cemetery Wind, and then Crosshairs comes and saves the dayyy!//

Veering right to avoid yet another explosion, Solar Eclipse hit the gas, peeling forwards. A little bit in front and beside her was Moonrider.

The two femmes had been calmly minding their own business when the humans from cemetery Wind came. Despite the two femmes having done nothing, the humans immediately fired upon them.

No questions asked, no nothing. They just attacked. So the femmes were left with little choice but to run.

Solar veered left, closing the distance between her and Moonrider. She stayed close behind her, knowing that if worst came to worst, they would be stronger together.

The two femmes slammed on the breaks when two army jeeps came whipping around the corner in front of them, forcing them to abruptly pull down an alley way. And into a dead end.

Before they could back out, their path was blocked by the humans and their vehicles. Not wanting to harm the humans, Moonrider and Solar backed up as far as they could before transforming.

Moonrider met Solar’s optics, then flicked her optics up indicating that they could climb up the side of the building.

Solar was about to nod in agreement when two helicopters flew by overhead. Solar’s optics widened in panic. They were trapped. And had no way to get out.

She watched in shock as the humans aimed their weapons, preparing to fire. She looked over at Moonrider, and saw a similar expression on her face.

They couldn’t fight back. If they did they could hurt the humans. Solar closed her eyes in dismay. After all their time defending the humans, this is what they got….

Just as she was expecting to hear gunshots, she heard something very, very different….

“What in the ‘ell is going on here? Being mean and nasty to some innocent femmes eh? Shame on you. Just wait till your lady friends find out you’ve been harassing two helpless females!”

Solar’s optics snapped open in shock, then widened.

Casually striding through the men and their vehicles, came a tall, green mech, walking with a swagger as his tailcoats swished behind me.

“Pardon me, s’xuse me,” the mech stated, kicking aside both humans and machines. “You useless little squishes… Pfft, can’t see how your puny little race is still alive.”

Ignoring the yells and threats of the humans, Crosshairs, for indeed it was, strode over to Moonrider and Solar. He gave them a grin, and then gave a dramatic bow. “Crosshairs, at yer service m’ladies.”

Moonrider smiled a bit and Solar just gawked at him. Crosshairs winked at her, clasping her servo with his and pulling her after him. “Out of the way, squishes! Not being very gentlemen like at the moment.” He waded through them, still pulling Solar after him.

Moonrider followed, smiling in amusement.

Once they were some distance away, Crosshairs released Solar’s servo, then pulled out two blasters and fired at the charging humans. “There. That ought to keep ‘em busy.” He winked at Solar again. “We best get going though, before they actually try to rip us apart.”

With that, Crosshairs transformed into a sleek, green and black Corvette. Solar stared at him as Moonrider did the same. After a moment, realising that they were waiting for her, she quickly transformed at well.

She could have sworn the way Crosshairs engine revved was him laughing.
